Science Centre... meetings?

There were at least two more "consultations" around the Ontario Science Centre in 2026.

I thought the first meeting was poor in that the projector was dim (it was hard to see the slides in the brightly-lit room), and several-meters-long lines of hard, high school cafeteria benches are not the best way to hold scrums. Could they not post a note about the arrangement of the meeting and the desired outcome, ahead of time?

It's possible to view the theme, or the main thrust of the jockeying around the Science Centre - meaning the physical building and what's left of the valley and the wetlands behind it - as being less about Doug Ford's plans to move the Science Centre's programming, and more about ideas for the remaining site.

Here is a recording of the sticky notes that were tacked onto the wall in the first hour of the meeting. I thought they were/are interesting because generally speaking, notes from local meetings are routinely not available. Image

As recently as April 12th and going into May, the "Save Science Centre" dot com web pages did not contain a summary of the meeting, and the sticky notes. So what was the point, again?

By late June the government was starting to advertise the Science Centre's "Harbourfront" location -
